Sigma Sound Studios Revamps

Sigma Sound Studios is a legendary Philadelphia recording studio, first opening its doors over 40 years ago. It has served as the first main studio for icons like David Bowie, Jackson 5, Madonna, and the O'Jays to release historic albums, and on the way, amassing over 190 gold and platinum records with their recording artists, while helping to popularize the soul-ific "Sound of Philadelphia."

Now, with their revamped 12,000-square-foot live facility and a total rebranding, they are hosting private shows for every major act that comes through town: Most recently, Nicki Minaj and Keri Hilson played to a small, but packed crowd.

In addition, they are opening their doors as a creative home for artists, producers and other talent in the music, television and film industries. They'll provide music education and comprehensive new media training.
