Tonight, at the El Bar, you can attend the Smile party and hang out in El Bar's super cool backyard space while hearing the sweet psych sounds and sonic vibrations of DJs Eddy Gieda and Will Hannan. Santeria: No, it's got nothing to do with that Sublime song. In fact, if you attend the screening of When the Spirits Dance Mambo tonight at the I-House, you'll find that Santeria (otherwise known as La Regla Ocha) is a serious West African and Caribbean religion brought about by 16th-century slaves that has found its way into the music, culture and dance of Cuba and, later, America. $5-$10 7 p.m.
