Raveonettes Overcome Jitters, Rock Out

Playing on the opening night of their extensive U.S. tour, the Raveonettes admitted to being more than a little nervous, but got over it long enough to fully rock out the TLA.

The Danish band is touring in support of their hotly anticipated, soon-to-be-released new LP, Raven in the Grave, due April 5. Based on an early video release of 'Recharge & Revolt, their fuzzy Jesus & Mary Chain vibe remains intact, which is welcome news. As for last night's sold-out gig, the band might have had butterflies early on, but that certainly didn't persuade them to turn down their amps.
