Let's take a look back at Week 6 last season (Oct. 17) -- the last time the Eagles and Falcons squared off.
Well, someone came to play Sunday, and it wasn't the Atlanta Falcons. The Eagles enjoyed an unstoppable performance from Jeremy Maclin, a stoppable-only-by-concussion performance from DeSean Jackson, and Kevin Kolb's best showing yet en route to a 31-17 torching of Altanta.

Kolb completed 23 of 29 passes for 326 yards, three touchdowns and one interception. Injured starter Michael Vick was listed third and nowhere to be found; the Eagles said he had permission both to be late to the game against his former team and to watch from the locker room. Kolb finished the day with a 133.6 QB rating -- not too shabby!
Jackson was an absolute beast on the field for as long as he was healthy, gaining 78 yards on just three first-quarter touches -- and helping the Eagles to a quick 14-0 start by scoring on a 31-yard run and a 34-yard pass from Kolb. He's also super-good at kicking up grass and making photos look cooler.

No words to describe it. Poetry! They should've sent a poet. So beautiful. So beautiful...
Jackson's groin was unsnaggable. That's not the ultimate factor in groin utility, of course, but it's pretty handy in football.

Then this happened. Jackson took at helmet to the chin from Atlanta's Dunta Robinson, leaving both players on the ground and sending Jackson off to the locker room.

The Eagles later announced he'd been concussed. You can catch a replay here, if that's your thing.

With Jackson out, Jeremy Maclin took over and scored his own pair of touchdowns on 8- and 83-yard passes.

He also scrapped with a Dirty Bird, earning a place in our hearts along with 159 yards on just seven catches.

You probably thought we were done with DeSean Jackson pics. IT'S LIKE YOU DON'T KNOW US AT ALL!

OK, now we're done, because this one of Brent Celek eluding linebacker Mike Peterson is pretty ill, too. Celek had four catches for 46 yards, third on the team behind Maclin and Jason Avant's 5-for-62.

Trent Cole celebrates a sack on Matt Ryan. The Eagles defense sacked Ryan -- a Philly native -- three times, hit him twice, deflected nine passes, and notched four tackles for a loss. Ryan finished the game 23 of 42 for 250 yards, two TDs and one interception.

Snapping Atltanta's four-game win streak? So delicious.
