8/05: Independent Beers & Movies Plus Sipping in the Center

LETS GET RAMBLING: Named the “greatest independent film of all time” by Empire Magazine, Quentin Tarantino’s debut film “Reservoir Dogs” will screen by the Philadelphia Film Society. The movie will play at Ritz East at 7:30 p.m. and is part of the Societies “Filmadelphia Classics Screenings ." Tickets are $9. For more information, call 215.925.2501.

WASTED WEDNESDAY: Wednesday's here and you’ve only got two more days until the weekend. Why not celebrate? Bars all over town are hosting specials as part of Center City Sips. Head to the Akoya and Pearl between 5 p.m. and 7 p.m. and enjoy $4 strawberry margaritas, $4 Thai basil lemonades, $3 chardonnay and $3 cabernet.
