Police say a group of juveniles stole a paraplegic man's wheelchair from outside his home in Upper Darby, but that it's now been recovered.
Investigators say 48-year-old Andrew Hinson says he left the brand new custom wheelchair outside over the weekend because breaking down the chair is a lot of work.
He told police that he left it on the landing Saturday night.
On Sunday, it was gone.
Upper Darby police Superintendent Michael Chitwood says investigators determined that a group of juveniles between the ages of 12 and 14 stole the chair as a prank around 12:30 p.m. Sunday.
It has now been recovered.
It wasn't immediately clear if any of the juveniles would face charges.
But Hinson had said he just wanted the chair back, no questions asked.
