Here are some great eateries in the Philly suburbs that combine the eating with the great outdoors.
In Wayne, Great American Pub Bar and Grill has built a reputation for itself. The beautiful outdoor atmosphere is perfect for whatever mood you're in and the menu has a little something for everyone, ranging from salads to steaks. They also feature an extensive beer menu. Live entertainment and/or a DJ are a staple.

Coyote Crossing in Conshy is a great way to spice it up -- literally. They have an extensive food menu that caters to Mexican, Southwest and Spanish cuisine and the outdoor patio area is to die for! They are open for lunch Monday through Friday and for dinner seven days a week.

Another Conshohocken favorite is the quaint Spring Mill Cafe. They mix French cuisine with African dishes. It's BYOB and desserts are delicious and rich. Be sure to call ahead, reservations are recommended

When in Rosemont, Gullifty's is a great option. It's a fun-friendly setting that puts a unique spin on traditional dishes. And if beer's your thing, they have more than 130 to choose from.

Set in the heart of Doylestown, Cafe Alessio has long been a 'burb favorite. Their handmade Italian specialties please all and they've just brought fresh sushi to their menu. Make sure to BYOB, but if you forget, there's a Wine & Spirits directly across the street.

For a true al fresco dining experience, go to Styer's Garden Cafe in Glen Mills. You can eat lunch in their greenhouse or have brunch on the cafe terrace. They construct their menu by using what's in season from local farmers.

Nudy's East Side Cafe comes highly recommended by those who live in Wayne. They only serve breakfast and lunch, but it's cheap, fast and amazingly good! They open bright and early at 7 a.m. and during the week closes at 4 p.m. On the weekends they close at 3 p.m.
