One Year of Firsts: Crash and Burn My College Paper

Research tells us fourteen out of any ten individuals likes chocolate. ~Sandra Boynton ... ~Linda Grayson, "The Pickwick Papers"

AHHH! I have a big paper due in 6 days for my Master's Journalism course and I'm WAAAAAAY behind and I DON'T WANT TO DO IT.

(My Professor is in Missouri and I pray she's not looking at this.)

I'm sure all of our NBC 10 interns will enjoy seeing this one.

I haven't crashed and burned like this since I was 20 in college.

Oh, you don't believe me!!  Welcome to my world. Take a look at the mess I've created here on this beautiful sunny Spring day.

Did I procrastinate? Oh yes I did. I've known for months this was coming. But hey, there were so many other things I was having fun doing.

Somehow this research proposal about the news viewing habits of college students for my Qualitative Research Methods Class seemed fascinating to me when I first thought of it.   Now I feel like a college kid saying...NO, NO..I can't do it.  It's Spring and I can't torture myself.

But here I am torturing myself.  Everyone asked me what big plans I had for the weekend...my answer "homework".  They thought I was kidding.

Gotta go.  I'm only half way through this thing. Wish me luck.
