Normal 0 false false false EN-US X-NONE X-NONE There are many Oktoberfest events going on this month but this could be the first one where Mayor Michael Nutter is getting involved.

On Saturday, Stephen Starr's Frankford Hall on 1210 Frankford Ave. joins in for its version of Oktoberfest.

The fest begins at noon with Sprecher Oktoberfest, Victory Weizenbock and other German-style brews to get the fun going all day and night.

Don’t miss out on Mayor Michael Nutter tapping the keg at 4 p.m.

To help get into the Oktoberfest spirit there will be German line dancers in between sets of the German band The Ja Ja Jas who will be performing from 1 to 4 p.m. and again from 6 to 9 p.m.

Bring the kids to this all age’s event where they can have their faces painted and experience a live magician and juggler.

The Fishtown beer garden will have  $1 raffles to win a scooter with a portion of it going to the Fishtown Neighbors Association to help Fishtown become a cleaner and environmental friendly neighborhood.

Pay as you go for great drinks and delicious food or just come and enjoy all the Oktoberfest fun.
