Thousand of customers will either get their money back or will have to find another gym after owners of Gold’s Gym in Oaks abruptly closed Monday.
Bob Lepage blamed exhaust that he says has been seeping into the gym located at 422 Business Center Drive from the auto repair shop next door for several years.
He says his insurance company and lawyer have advised him to close for safety reasons.
Lepage says he will notify all club members about how to cancel or transfer memberships.
For now, Gold’s Gym members can go to Kinetix Sports Club located at 951 N. Park Avenue in Fairview Village, PA.
If you are a member and do not receive a refund, you can file a complaint with the state’s Attorney General’s office.
