Nordstrom Opens at Christiana Mall

As we reported back in January, Newark, Delaware's Christiana Mall is making a comeback. Adding fuel to the revival is the recent addition of Nordstrom to the mall's current roster of 130 stores. The department store opened its doors at the Christiana Mall last Friday at 8 a.m., reports PR Newswire.

"We're thrilled to be opening a store at the Christiana Mall," said Terisha Johnson, store manager. "We look forward to serving the community and providing exceptional shopping experiences for our customers."

The first Nordstrom to take up residence in Delaware, the store occupies 123,000 square feet of retail space on two levels. Our region is home to two other Nordstrom stores: Cherry Hill, NJ, and King of Prussia, PA.
