Man Charged With Distributing Child Porn From Daycare Center

Federal prosecutors say a Claymont man has been charged with transportation of child pornography from his home, where a relative provides day-care services.

Forty-eight-year-old Carl McBride was charged by criminal complaint Tuesday. At an appearance in federal court in Wilmington, McBride waived his rights to a preliminary and detention hearing. It could not be immediately determined if he has a lawyer.

Prosecutors say McBride used a non-public, peer-to-peer computer network to distribute child pornography to more than 100 people from his home. Authorities say a relative has provided a day-care service called Little Tykes Day Care from the home.

State officials suspended the operator's license on Tuesday.
