Lunching at Bistrot La Minette

Bistrot La Minette has announced that they'll be slinging lunch every weekend day from 11:30 a.m. until 2:30 p.m. Now, we know Philly is a hearty brunching town, but in the land of frogs, the word just doesn't exist. But, that doesn't mean their lunch won't help your body soak up all the liquor from the night before.

We see lots of egg-heavy dishes on the menu, sidled with sides of asparagus, lardons, mussels, and a juicy strip steak. Chef Peter Woolsey is even offering his intense Coq Au Vin for the midday session, which will surely put you to sleep at the table. If heavy bites aren't your thing, there's an Endive salad and Gratin de PÒtes Façon Peggy, which is the fancy Franco-speak for Peggy's Mac and Cheese. And what would lunch be without snails? If you want to peep the full menu, head over to their website for all the details.

As for drinks, the Bistrot La Minette wine list is in full effect, but they'll also be offering up brunchy bevs like Bloodys and mimosas. [The Feast]
