Croc Rock brought in 50,294 people in 2011 -- a number that increased by 2,609 people in 2010, moving the club up the list from the No. 72 spot last year, according to the Morning Call.

The Crocodile Rock Café is the Lehigh Valley’s largest rock and roll multiplex club with four different performance venues.

Owl City, Snoop Dogg and the Plain White T’s are just some of the headliners that helped increase ticket sales for the club in 2011. Croc Rock already has booked Matt Nathanson, Backstreet Boys’ Nick Carter and Anthrax and Testament for 2012.

The annual Pollstar Magazine ranking measures ticket sales from Jan. 1 to Dec. 31. New York City’s Terminal 5 topped the list again this year with 268,973 tickets sold.

Other local clubs on the list are Philadelphia’s Electric Factory at.53, Stroudsburg’s Sherman Theater at 58 and the Chameleon Club in Lancaster at number 93.
