Christmas Light Crazy - The Howard's Christmas Light Display My family and I have been putting up a Christmas light dispay for well over ten years now and each year it gets bigger and better. We have gone from 6,700 lights in 1999 to over 53,000 lights this year! A few years ago we added something that really took our display to the next level, a light show with synchronized music! Now, items in our display dance along to the music and make for a really interesting display. My family and I usually begin putting up our display in ...

We decorated our house this year with some white lights and made wreaths adorned with red and silver bulbs. And of course lit candles in the windows. There's nothing like the warm, cozy feeling you get when you pull in for the night and see the house all aglow!

Christmas 2010 at the Braun home in Sinking Spring, Pa. This year we have roughly between 30,000 and 40,000 lights, four inflatables, four 12-foot, one 18-foot, one 35-foot (6800 lights in this one alone) homemade Christmas trees and numerous other unique creations including a merry-go-round and a Ferris wheel. Another major attraction is our homemade candy cane arches which line the sidewalk around our house. Everyone loves to get out of their cars and walk down Candy Cane Lane.

Our Pottstown home is the only one on our block that is all lit up for the holidays. There are about 2000 lights displayed all done by my son Curtis who is dedicating this year's display to his nephew Cailum (it's his 1st Christmas). Time to be cheerful, festive and joyous for the season to celebrate is here. Come and see the wonder and delight as there are more than holiday lights. The lawn decor (we call lawn tuberware) is a delightful sight to see. Please enjoy as we placed them here for all to see. Enjoy the scene.

From the countdown to Christmas to the gingerbread forest to the snowball playing penguins -- our house stops traffic! We are known for our lights in the area and everyone tells us how they look forward to it and to seeing what is new. We try to change it up each year with a different color scheme and theme and by adding something new. The theme this year is candy canes, with the house in red and white and our driveway and walk lined with them.

The Christmas Village was started nine years ago with the birth of my first grandchild Alexis. Through the years, its reputation has grown to become one of the best holiday displays in King of Prussia. The village includes thousands of lights, 19 inflatable characters, a singing Santa, a 15-foot balloon, a collection of plastic figurines -- including Santas and toy soldiers, two candy cane houses, a see saw and a ferris wheel. The latest addition was a golden retriever inflatable for our dog Rocky who we lost seven years ago.

We live in West Chester, Pa. and each year my husband starts on November 1 putting up all the lights. We have set up a large light display for several years now and we have constant traffic from the night they go on until we turn them off the first weekend afternoon of the new year. Last year we started a toy donation box with our Santa at the bottom of the driveway and we collected eight 50-gallon trash bags of new, unwrapped toys that we took up and donated to the Chester County Hospital Pediatric Unit. They loved it. All during 2010, anytime a child was admitted to the unit, they received a new toy. This year we are doing it again but the toys will be split between the Pediatric Unit and the Emergency Room.

Every year after Halloween, my dad spends his weekends and nights putting setting up his Christmas display, taking him about 7 days or more total. Something new is added to the display each year! Friends and family come from all over too see his hard work, and we think that the rest of the NBC 10 watchers should be able to see such an awesome Christmas time tradition at our house!!
