Philly Beer Fest is still a few months away, but true fans of the drink know that seasonal, winter beers are often among the tastiest, most intense brews of the year.
That’s why we recommend you spend the weekend between Christmas and the New Year getting tipsy at the Philadelphia Christmas Beer Fest at the University of Pennsylvania Museum of Archeology and Anthropology (3260 South St.). The fest takes place Saturday, Dec. 27 from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.
The $75 general admission ticket gets you unlimited samples of more than 50 seasonal brews and access to a food buffet. But for $125, your VIP ticket gets you all of that—plus early admittance, a sit-down lunch with Don Russell (a.k.a. Joe Sixpack) and a complimentary copy of Russell’s new book, Christmas Beer.
Admission, obviously, is 21+. And while tickets may be available at the door the day of the event for $90, this will probably sell out fast, so get your tickets here.
