Top Chef Jen Carroll is the featured guest at the wildly popular Amis Industry Night soiree going down this evening. The theme for the party is "Sex on the Beach," and will feature a host of good eats from the 10 Arts crew, including: Spaghetti with Crabmeat, Fried Clams, Foie Gras Biscuits, Heirloom Potato Salad, Fried Chicken, and Homemade Salt Water Taffy.
"We're also going to have a Mr. Softee truck outside, giving out free cones of ice cream on the street. It's going to be nuts," said Carroll, who will be joined by Sugar Mama Monica Glass for the proceedings.
Carroll joins a long line of famous chefs who have worked the pans at the monthly party, including Gabrielle Hamilton of Prune in NYC, Michael Schwartz of Michael's Genuine in Miami, and local chefs Jean-Marie Lacroix and Georges Perrier. The event is free and will be packed, so arrive early. As always, make sure to bring a pay stub from your restaurant employer to gain access to the monthly Bacchanalian throwdown.
