Indie Pipe Organ Concert

Indie Pipe Organ Concert: As part of the multi-medium dance and music festival Blindspot, Andrew Thiboldeaux, one half of the band Pattern is Movement, will be performing a pipe organ concert at the Christ Church in Old City. Thiboldeaux will be bringing with him a drummer, percussionist, and two trumpet players to round out what should be an indie choral cabaret, resonating over the church's massive pipes. $14-$20 9 p.m.

Love the '80s: As far as '80s nights go, you know what you're going to get: lots of Madonna, Cyndi Lauper, Wham, and plenty of George Michael. But, if you can stumble into the right one, like the ACD WSH party at the Barbary tonight, you'll hear an entirely different sort of catalog, including The Revillos, Devo and The Modern Lovers. Score. Free. 9 p.m.

Save the Daquiri: We've told you about this one before, and it still baffles us. Apparerently, the venerable daquiri is in danger of becoming extinct, or so claims the Rum Bar, since they are throwing a 'Save the Daquiri" party today. Perhaps they refer to real, fresh daquiris, as opposed to the kind of neon slush machine sludge that often gets passed off as one. In any event, now is the time to reestablish an old party favorite. All daquiris will be 1/2 price until close. Viva la Daquiri! 5 p.m.-2 a.m.

Going out can be a gamble, so why leave it up to chance? Stack the deck every day by peeping Play's Dance Card.
