Send Olympians Off in Style

Wish local Olympians good luck before they leave for the games.

The countdown to Vancouver is on and IceWorks Skating Complex in Aston, Pa. is giving a very special send off to three local Olympic teams who call the practice facility home.

The teams Vancouver-bound are headlined by ice dancers Tanith Belbin and Ben Agosto who placed second at Nationals over the weekend. The dynamic duo hopes to take home gold in Vancouver after winning silver in 2006.

Other ice dancers calling IceWorks home for now include Russians (and current European champsOksana Domnina and Maxim Shabalin and Italians Federica Faiella and Massimo Scali

Before the dancers hit the road, the skating complex is hosting an Olympic Exhibition and Send Off Celebration in their honor on Saturday, Feb. 6 when the skaters will be performing for the public one last time before they head to Vancouver.

But the most exciting news of all is that you can be there for just $10. Or, for $20, you can also attend a reception that includes hors d'Oeuvres and drinks and a meet and greet with the athletes. Spend 25 bucks and get the VIP treatment -- great seats, admission to the reception, autograph signings (meet and greet) and free skate from 7:30 p.m. until 9:30 p.m.

Order your tickets today and show our Olympians the love and support they deserve on the road to gold.

IceWorks will also host viewing parties during each of the three ice dance events at the Olympic Games.
