Step On It

Are you a die-hard vintage sports car fan? Have you always wanted to see what it would be like to drive one of those beauties? Here’s your chance. The Simeone Foundation Automobile Museum (6825-31 Norwitch Drive) is hosting Demonstration Days the fourth Saturday of each month.

The first demonstration will take place on Saturday August 22 at noon. In case of rain, the show will go on as planned on Sunday at the same time.

This Saturday's theme is “Days of Thunder” where you can catch head tuners like the Cunningham C4R and Ford MK II and MKIV.

On September 26, England will battle Italy when the Aston-Martin DBR1 and Ferrari 250 TR will be showcased. And on October 31 you can test drive the Alfa Romeo Monza and Alfa Romeo 8C 2900A.

The museum is also host to the ongoing Classical Motorcycle Show  which runs until September 9.

Admission is your regular museum fee -- $12 for adults, $10 for seniors and $8 for students. Two shows for the price of one -- can’t beat that!
