Gatorade Wants to Make You a Pro

Think you have what it takes to go from “Flow to Pro?”

The 2009 Gatorade Free Flow Tour will stop by Moorestown, NJ at the Black Diamond Skatepark on August 22 at 1 p.m. where they will hold a skate park competition.

Gatorade aims to scour 33 parks across the nation in search of the best amateur skaters and BMX riders with the goal of turning them pro.

They will fly the winners of 53 total skate and BMX competitions to the finals at the Dew Tour’s Toyota Challenge, which takes places September 17 through 20.

The four overall winners – two in skate and BMX park, two in skate and BMX vert – will compete against the pros at the PlayStation Pro in Orlando, Fla., October 15-18.

Last year’s winners were Timmy Knuth (skate park), Paul Luc Ronchetti (skate vert), Glenn Salyers (BMX park) and Tyler Chamberlain (BMX vert).

The competition should be fierce, so bring your A-game.
