Phoenixville's Majolica has gone on a restaurant's equivalent of an extended vacation overseas and has come back looking very "well-rested." (Translation: had major work done)
After closing up shop for a couple of weeks, owners Andrew Deery and Sarah Johnson have given the former New American BYOB a French makeover (in addition to a new logo and fresh paint). Tonight's re-opening finds the restaurant's new menu full of bistro fare like duck confit, salmon with hollandaise sauce and steak frites. Deery and Johnson have also lowered prices (yippee!) with appetizers ranging from $3-$12, entrees between $16 and $21 and desserts from $5 to $8. They will also be offering a $25 three-course prix-fixe menu, with selections that will change daily. For large parties of 6 to 8 people, Chef Deery plans to offer an eight-course tasting menu served at the restaurant’s new Farmhouse Table.
Majolica will be open for dinner Wednesdays through Sundays from 5-11.
