Free Event! Malcolm Gladwell at the Library

Even if you haven’t read either of Malcolm Gladwell’s mega-hit books, you’re likely familiar with his name.

After stints at the Washington Post, the New Yorker and The American Spectator—and, of course, best-selling books—Gladwell is as household a name as a writer gets these days.

His writing often deals with issues of pop psychology and sociology, but he makes potentially complicated concepts relatable through anecdotes. His books “The Tipping Point” and “Blink” both followed this recipe, and were both wildly successful.

Tonight, however, Gladwell will discuss his latest work, “Outliers,” at The Free Library (1901 Vine St.) at 7 p.m.

The event, like some of the best things in life, is free.
