Frankford Hall has been packed since day one with revelers and ping-pong enthusiasts, throwing back liters and liters of German gold with reckless abandon (ok, maybe not in the photo at left, but it's true). We're happy to report that regulars will save a few pennies on a newly launched Happy Hour that rivals some of the best in the city.
Every Tuesday through Thursday, from 4-6 p.m., half-liter drafts are $5, and beasty liter mugs are only $10, filled with some of the best German and local craft suds around. (Protip: Since there's no price break on the big guy, we usually go for the half-liter so it won't warm up as quickly.)
What we're really excited for, though, is the massive, warm Bavarian pretzel and half-liter Victory Prima Pils for a ridiculously paltry $6. While the sausages didn't get high marks in Craig LaBan's recent visit, they're only $8 during Happy Hour and come saddled with a half-liter beer, as well. [The Feast]
