Feelin' Hot Hot Hot!

Along with the warm temperatures comes the humidity.

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch is in effect for the Poconos and Lehigh, Northampton, Berks and Lancaster Counties until 8 p.m. Friday, so if you’re forgoing the shore for the woods, watch out.

In our immediate area, there is nothing showing on the radar right now, but storms are expected to pop up later this afternoon and into the evening. Luckily, most of then will be well to the west of Philadelphia. Storms will be moving fast to the northeast, so if storms develop near Lancaster, for example, they will be moving toward Allentown, rather than toward Philly.

This afternoon will be warm and humid with a high around 87.

Saturday will not be as hot as today and we’ll have more clouds and a better chance of showers with a high in the mid-80s.

For all you beach bums, the shore looks pretty clear for tomorrow.

Sunday temperatures will be in the 80s again, but Monday and Tuesday are shaping up to be scorchers with temps in the 90s.
