The Philadelphia Eagles are making a fast and furious comeback in today's NFC Championship Game, scoring two touchdowns late in the third quarter after trailing 24-6.
But the Eagles, as they so often do under coach Andy Reid, made two questionable decisions in their late-game strategy, and both decisions may come back to bite them.
First, with 56 seconds remaining in the third quarter, they failed to get a play run in a timely fashion, and they burned a timeout to avoid a delay of game penalty. When you're losing late in a game, a timeout is not to be thrown away lightly.
