Equality Forum Comes to Philadelphia

Starting this weekend, Philadelphia will be opening its doors to the LGBT community with the annual Equality Forum taking place from April 25 to May 1.

The Equality Forum will feature over 40 programs to get involved in. One of the bigger events, SundayOUT at The Piazza, is the region's largest LGBT street festival and will take place in the open-air plaza in Northern Liberties on Sunday, May 1.

Another large-scale event held during the Equality Forum is the International Equality Dinner. The dinner will take place at the National Constitution Center on Saturday, April 30. Individual tickets for this event are going for $200.

Throughout the week there will be several parties, films and theater performances honoring and supporting the LGBT community.
