Drivers Enjoy Another Week Of Lower Gas Prices in New Jersey

AAA Mid-Atlantic says the average price of a gallon of regular gas Friday in New Jersey was $2.83.

Drivers in New Jersey and around the country have been enjoying another week of lower gas prices.

AAA Mid-Atlantic says the average price of a gallon of regular gas Friday in New Jersey was $2.83, down four cents from last week. Motorists were paying $2.47 for gas in New Jersey at this time last year.

The national average gas price Friday was also $2.84 a gallon, down three cents from last week. The national average a year ago was $2.46 a gallon.

Analysts say crude prices have declined significantly since the beginning of the month, but things could change ahead of U.S.-imposed sanctions on Iran.
