Don't Miss Macy's Flower Show

Business Wire reports that Macy's annual in-store Flower Show will follow a "Towers of Flowers" theme this year, the architecture-inspired floral displays guaranteed to "take winter-weary spectators on a tour of towering spectacles." Event-goers can also expect "floral-infused renderings of fortified architecture and world-famous landmarks such as the Eiffel Tower, leaning Tower of Pisa and the Hancock Tower in Chicago, to historic forts and towers of fantasy including Jack and the Beanstalk."

Taking place from March 27 through April 10, 2011, Macy's Flower Show can be viewed locally at Philadelphia's Center City Macy's location. The Philadelphia Macy's will host number of special store events in conjuction with the Flower Show, most notably a "Fashion Challenge" in partnership with PIFA. With Kristin Haskins-Simms as the host, the Fashion Challenge will pair participants with models and test their skills at creating a winning special-occaison ensemble. The winner will walk away with a $100 Macy's gift card. The Fashion Challenge is scheduled to take place on Wednesday, March 30, at 5:30 p.m., within the second floor women's department.
