Another beautiful day! But some of you might be worried about another hurricane hitting this area. Katia is forecasted to strengthen and should become hurricane within the next 24 hours. The storm is still moving northwest, but will not be near the east coast until late next week. We're still watching developing weather pattern to see exactly where storm will head, but for now, it's looking like a front will try to keep Katia out to sea.
Our next chance for rain will be Friday afternoon -- mainly to the west -- and then again on Sunday and Monday.
Temperatures may climb a bit over the weekend and we can’t rule out 90 degrees before the rain moves in Sunday.
New Jersey is still experiencing major flooding issues, so flood warnings remain in effect. Minor tidal flooding is also possible along the Delaware River with high tide this afternoon.
