We caught up with artist-cum-designer Greg Lauren (nephew to Ralph) at Barneys in Beverly Hills this past weekend, where he was presenting his debut military-chic collection for men and women, which recently hit the shelves.
His one-of-a-kind deconstructed tuxedos and field jackets are made from vintage military duffels, army tents, and sailor uniforms. Between ogling a spot-on repurposed canvas cape, and fondling the distressed leather workwear boots, we cornered Lauren into spilling the goods.
You can meet him in person in Chicago this Saturday, March 5 and in San Francisco on March 19, at Barneys New York.
Sin City is The Feast's signature interview series, wherein we get to know the city's characters in a biblical sense, by asking them seven very serious questions.
