A 38-year-old New Castle County woman has been arrested and faces rape charges after she allegedly had sex with her daughter's 14-year-old friend.
Juli Faunce came to attention of New Castle County Police after she reported that the same boy had forced himself on her teenage daughter, according to police.
Faunce was allegedly unhappy that the boy had also had sexual contact with her daughter and called the police, said NCC police.
On Sunday police investigated Faunce's claim that the boy forced himself on her daughter. There will be no charges issued against the boy, said New Castle County Police Corporal Trinadad Navarro.
Police discovered the alleged relationship between Faunce and the boy after contacting the boy's mother. The teenager's mother had just learned about the alleged relationship and reported the information to the cops, said police.
Faunce reportedly had sex with the teen on at least two occasions in November while he was “staying the night” at her residence, said the cops.
Faunce is charged with four counts of rape in the third degree. She is out of $40,000 unsecured bail and isn't allowed to have contact with the boy, his family or have any teenage boys at her home for a period of time.
