Gayborhood hot spot Valanni is amping up its ample drink menu for the summer season, adding seven new drinks to an already burgeoning list along with a slew of fruity sangrias that have us salivating for a pitcher (or two).
The new cocktails will be available starting today and run the gamut from the sweet-n-silly (the Cotton Candy Cosmo made with blueberry vodka and garnished with blue cotton candy) to the elegant-n-exotic (the French Ginger Lemonade made with ginger liqueur and fresh-squeezed lemonade). Old favorites from previous summers are returning -- like the Sangarita, a pairing of tequila and red wine clearly designed to make you take your clothes off -- along with their signature red, white and watermelon sangrias.
Head to the bar at Valanni during their much-beloved "you-call-it" happy hour Monday through Friday from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. and you can try the new cocktails or any other drink you'd like (including premium liquors) for $6, plus snack on tapas for half price.
