Clothing Store Employees Tied-Up, Robbed

Police searching for two armed men

It was a frightening night for workers inside a local department store.

Two armed gunmen barged into the Forman Mills store along the 5600 block of Rising Sun Avenue early Wednesday morning and tied up the employees, according to Philadelphia Police.

The employees were re-stocking and because the store is so big, some of the workers didn’t even know they were being robbed, investigators said.

The two bandits, with a gun, tied up the workers and made off with money from the stores safe.

They remain on the loose.

None of the employees were hurt in the robbery, just shaken up.

Police are interviewing six employees to get descriptions of the suspects to track down the armed robbers.
