It's been less than three months since City Sports remodeled its Walnut Street, Philadelphia location, but the specialty sports retailer has already unveiled a new store in the Philly 'burbs, in the Main Line town of Wayne, PA. Marking City Sports' twentieth store, the Wayne location has found a home at 309 East Lancaster Avenue, in the space previously occupied by the Wayne ACME, and officially opened on Saturday, November 5. The Main Line shop is City Sports' third Philly-area location, after Walnut Street in Center City and Suburban Square in Ardmore.
To celebrate the opening of the Main Line store, City Sports Wayne will host a free, public party on Saturday, November 12. The first 100 people to walk through the door will receive a free goody bag, complete with a City Sports t-shirt and smaller giveaways. These 100 customers will also be entered in a sweepstakes to win a new pair of shoes every month for one year. Event-goers will also enjoy DJ-supplied music, refreshments, and a chance at cool prizes -- over $1,000 worth of City Sports merch will be raffled off during the event.
