Savory Bread Pudding with Garlic Sausage

Serves 4


  •  8 oz ciabatta bread
  • 1/4 ea onion
  • 1 ea celery stalk
  • 1 ea garlic clove
  • 2 ea whole eggs
  • 1 ea egg yolk
  • 2 cups cream
  • 1 lb sausage
  • tt salt


Render sausage in a pan. Chop onions, celery and garlic. Add to sausage and mix. Cut the ciabatta bread into cubes. In a bowl, mix the remaining ingredients (bread, eggs, egg yolk, cream and salt) with sausage mixture. Place in a baking dish and cook at 350F until an internal temperature of 185F is achieved. Serve immediately or chill overnight and reheat when needed.
