Career Wardrobe Helps Local Women

While many companies are seeing a decrease in sales due to the economy, one organization is seeing a dramatic increase in business.

Career Wardrobe helps women who qualify, transition back into workforce.

For starters, they offer women a free outfit for job interviews.

With recent layoffs in our area, the organization says it’s seen a 100-percent increase in the number of women it's helped this year.

Career Wardrobe offers educational seminars on everything from budgeting to resume writing and honing your skills for that next big job interview.

In terms of the clothes, once women land a job, Career Wardrobe offers them 3 additional outfits, free.

Career Wardrobe is not for everyone. To be eligible, you need to be referred by a job-training program, domestic violence agency or other social service agency.
