It's been 26 years since John Schnatter, founder of Papa John's Pizza, sold his 1971 Chevy Camaro for $2800.
Schnatter took the money from the sale of his beloved car and launched what is now the third largest pizza empire in the world valued at $750 million.
And even though his popular pizza chain has changed his life and made him millions, Schnatter never forgot about his old Camaro. In fact, in May he offered a $250,000 reward for the car.
The search proved successful and Papa John was reunited with his pride and joy.
In celebration of the reunion, Papa John's is giving away one free pizza pie on Wednesday, August 26. All you have to do is drive your Camaro to any PJ's location.
