If you’re between sizes 12 and 28, you might want to listen up. On Saturday, July 17, The Wardrobe Boutique is holding their Career Wardrobe Swap.
All you have to do is bring a minimum of five items and then you can trade them with other fashionistas from the area.
The event is completely free and runs from 12 p.m. until 2 p.m. Those planning to attend need to RSVP.
All of the leftover clothes that weren’t swapped will be donated to The Career Wardrobe.
Keep in mind that the clothes you bring can’t be traded for The Wardrobe Boutique’s regular merchandise, but if you have trouble finding something you need from another swapper, they're more than likely to give you a store discount.
"We've been running the event for about three months now. Because of the economic situation and recession, it's a fun, social and frugal way to get new clothes and donate to a non-profit organization. People have a chance to swap clothes and give back," said Assistant manager Melanie Frazza.
If you’re a size o through 10 don’t worry, swaps occur the first Saturday of the month from 12 p.m. to 2 p.m.
The Wardrobe Boutique is located on 19th & Spring Garden Street. For more info on the event, visit their website and to RSVP click here.
