Philly's favorite food fest is back

Who's got expendable cash to spend on extravagant dinners? Not us, and probably not most of you. Thankfully, this weekend marks the kick-off to Sunoco Welcome America. And what better way to kick-off a countdown to the Fourth of July, then with the Taste of Philadelphia food festival -- that's three days of fine dining on a fast-food budget.

Penn's Landing is the home of this popular food fest, which takes place on Friday, June 26 from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. and Saturday and Sunday, June 27 and 28 from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.

Stuff yourself silly with samples from 20 of the area's best restaurants like Cuba Libre, Keating's River Grill and Machismo Burrito Bar for less than five bucks a pop.

We smell a deal -- or maybe that's the food.
