Bob Dylan Takes the Mann

Don’t Think Twice, It's Alright: Meanwhile, folk/rock/blues troubadour Bob Dylan keeps chugging along, having released dozens of studio albums and 13 live LPs. His touring is also varied and nearly endless, but that doesn't mean you shouldn't take the opportunity to see rock royalty when you get the chance. He plays tonight at the Mann Center with a backing band that includes one-time prodigy Charlie Sexton. $40-$82.10 7:30 p.m.

Wha' Happened? As part of their outdoor film series, the good people at the South Street Headhouse District are screening M. Night Shyamalan's The Happening tonight under the pavilion roof. The film -- which, it should be noted, is 'R' rated and more gory than some of Night's other offerings -- concerns strange goings on with a sudden viral case of mass suicide all around the area. Free. 7:30 p.m.

Wear a Fedora: Old City might have some joints that are best to avoid, especially on the weekends, but, happily, Lucy's Hat Shop isn't one of them. A good thing, too, as their happy hour is pretty extensive: $3 Bud Light Drafts, $3 Soco 'n Lime Shots & Cuervo Shots, $2.50 PBR, $1.25 Rolling Rock Ponies, $6 Three Olives + Red Bull Bombs, and lasts all night long. 5:00 p.m.-2:00 a.m.

Going out can be a gamble, so why leave it up to chance? Stack the deck every afternoon by peeping Play's Dance Card.
