Blake Griffin Gets Birthday Beatdown

On the occasion of his 22nd birthday, Los Angeles Clippers rookie forward Blake Griffin enjoyed a mixed bag of a night against the 76ers. He was serenaded by fans -- in various ways -- and given a chance to try some stand-up comedy before the game, but then this happened and things pretty much went downhill for him from there.

The game wasn't all hard fouls and technicals, though. In fact, in one brief sequence in the second half, Griffin even got off one of his patented long-range ally oop slams, but he ended up shooting just 3-12 in the team's 104-94 loss.

This development apparently caused some Sixers fans to lose their minds at least temporarily, but the birthday boy can take solace in this, if nothing else: Conan still has his back.
