Black Lips Keep Their Pants On

Southern "flower punk" band, Black Lips played a sold-out gig at the Troc on Saturday, but the wild boys -- who've been known to disrobe and play their instruments with alternative body parts -- mostly kept things under control. They played an hour-long set with several tunes from their forthcoming new LP Arabia Mountain (the first video of which can be found here) thrown in the set list.

Naturally, they did try to feed the audience beers (which were snatched away by a hard-at-work security guard), but there was little of the chaotic stage rioting they've instigated in the past. Instead, they just focused on playing a solidly frenetic gig for their appreciative fans, some of whom had peculiar theories as to the religious beliefs of their fellow audience members.
