Agnostic Front Gets Rowdy

Front on This: Back in the infancy of the New York hardcore scene in the mid-'80s, Agnostic Front tore up the place with the release of their seminal 1984 LP Victim in Pain. Now, 25 years later, they're celebrating the anniversary with a series of live shows destined to add to their legend. They play tonight at the Barbary. $13. 7 p.m.

PFF Last Call: The 2011 Philly Film Fest winds up tonight with a handful of screenings, including local director Deron Albright's searing The Destiny of Lesser Animals involving cops, criminals and corruption in modern day Ghana. After the film, the director will be on hand for a Q&A session. $12. 7:30 p.m.

1001 Nights: If you're looking for a worthy drunk metaphor, you could do a lot worse than Aladdin's magic carpet rides. Hence, the Flying Carpet Café and Bar begins to make a lot of sense, as does their late happy hour specials: $3 select beers, $4 Golden Monkey, $4 wines and $5 mixed drinks. 7-9 p.m.

Going out can be a gamble, so why leave it up to chance? Stack the deck every afternoon by peeping Play's Dance Card.
