Special guests, Jonathan Newman, Wine Enthusiast Man of the Year and recipient of the Guild of Sommeliers Distinguished Service Award and Philadelphia author, Jeffery A. Cohen, will be on hand for a welcoming reception, followed by a luxurious four-course dinner. Stick around for an autographed copy of Cohen’s latest novel. Shoe Shine Benefit: Support the Shoe Shine Boys of La Paz, Bolivia tonight at the Walnut Room. Temple University students and professionals as well as the International Design Clinic will help local citizens and non-profit organizations in La Paz bring education to the community. They need your help to fund the project. Come to tonight’s event which includes raffles, shoe shines and music from local indie rock band Turning Violet Violet, DJ Lil Rocko Casio Nova, DJ Joey Blanco and DJ Fly Girls.
