Ford unleashes the next generation of compact SUV's. The 2013 Ford Escape is similar to the Ford Kuga that is only sold in Europe and China. The 2013 Ford Escape offers 3 engines in the United States, the 2.5-liter 4 cylinder, 1.6-liter turbocharged 4-cynlinder that was rated at 173 horsepower and a 2.0-liter turbocharged 4 cylinder that was rated 237 horsepower. The new escape also has a gone green. The new escape features earth-friendly materials in the interior such as the cushions, carpets and head restraints. The new escape has safety features that include seven airbags, antiskid system and traction control.
The escape also comes with exclusive advanced technology. The hands-free lift gate makes it easier to load any cargo, just place your foot under the bumper and the power lift gate will open automatically. Other available features include, active park assistance, cross traffic alert, access push button start, MyFord touch, Sony audio system and advanced safety protection. This is the first re-design vehicle for Ford in over a decade and it’s all about making it efficient for the everyday family.
