11/4: Pop, Professionals and Paul Mooney

Paul Mooney: All this week it’s the Philadelphia Comedy Festival at Laff House on South Street. Beginning tonight, the hilarious and controversial Paul Mooney kicks off the festival at 8 p.m. With taboo topics regarding race relations, racism, African-American culture and history, Mooney speaks his mind and that’s why all his fans love him. Over the years, Mooney has played the roles of actor, writer and comedian with projects such as Good Times, Saturday Night Live, In Living Color, Bamboozled and most recently, Good Hair.
