Step Out and Walk: Register, donate, walk and help stop diabetes Saturday morning at the Philadelphia Museum of Art. The 5K ADA walk begins bright and early at 8 a.m. If you haven’t gotten breakfast or want to learn more, a café, health fest, red strider zone and kids’ zone will be on-hand providing food and information. Bring your friends out to help fight diabetes all day. Philadelphia Museum of Art, 26th Street & Benjamin Franklin Parkway, Philadelphia, Pa. 19130, 8 a.m.

Fall Festival: Ring in fall the right way on Saturday at the 5th Annual Midtown Village Fall Festival. The all-day Center City party is filled with tons of food, drinks, live music, shopping, and more. Learn about the latest restaurants and boutiques or be adventurous in the dunk tank and sumo-wrestling ring. Midtown Village, Broad to 11th Street, Market to Spruce Streets, Philadelphia, Pa. 19103, Free, 12 p.m.

River Palooza: Party at Mad River in Manayunk this Saturday for their jam fest including free Tony Luke’s cheesesteaks and drink specials. Beginning at 12 p.m., dance to the sounds of DJ Stevie B, followed by Stellar Mojo, Secret Service, Go-Go Gadjet, Split Decision, DJ Tonka and DJ Tommy G. Drink specials include $2 Coors Light, $3 vodka lemonades and $3 Sweet Carolina drinks from 3 p.m. until 5 p.m. Mad River, 4100 Main Street, Philadelphia, Pa. 19127, $15, 12 p.m.

Sippin’ by the River: On Sunday, celebrate the 16th annual Sippin’ by the River benefitting the Philadelphia/Delaware Valley Chapter of the Crohn's and Colitis Foundation of America. Spend a day outside drinking, dining and enjoying live music, cooking demonstrations, wine tastings and more. Bring your friends out for a fun and beneficial day on the river. Penn’s Landing, Pier 27, Columbus Boulevard, Philadelphia, Pa. 19123, $35-$40, 1 p.m.

Docktoberfest: Head down to Dock Street Brewery for free music Sunday afternoon. The festival will celebrate Dock’s 25th anniversary in Philadelphia and 3rd anniversary in West Philly. Of course the local microbrewery will be serving the best in beers as well as music including Stinking Lizaveta, The Homophones, Dinosaur Feathers and Skeletonbreath. Bring a book as a donation to support non-profit organization, Books Thru Bars. Dock Street Brewery, 701 South 50th Street, Philadelphia, Pa. 19143, 2 p.m.
