Angry Birds Turn to Twitter

Claiming safety concerns for the players and fans the NFL rescheduled the Eagles Sunday Night matchup with the Vikings for Tuesday night.

And don’t think that decision sat well with the Birds.

“This sucks man,” tweeted running back LeSean McCoy.

Wideout Jeremy Maclin summed up his frustration in fewer words:

“Pissed!” he tweeted.

Some other Birds weren’t as angry sounding while expressing their dissapointment.

“It's only snow!!!! Let us play... It must b alot of fun... I'm ready let's get it on!!” tweeted weapon DeSean Jackson.

“I wish I could play…” tweeted free safety Kurt Coleman.

“I'm good either way. Doesn't really matter now tho...” offensive lineman Todd Herremans tweeted to our own Howard Eskin.

Herremans fellow line mate Winston Justice told NBCPhiladelphia.com’s John Clark that he was disappointed but also trying to roll with the punches.

“Today would have been really my first day actually playing in snow so I was kinda looking forward to that.” Justice said. “I always thought we play whether it’s rain, sleet or snow but I guess it was for the public’s safety.”

Making the best of it seemed to be what Vikings punter Chris Kluwe did when he and some teammates headed down to South Philly for Pat’s Steaks.

Vikings teammate Visanthe Shiancoe also tried to make the best of the time off.

"Just finished shopping with teammates.. making the best of the situation," he tweeted.
