Phillies lefty ace Cliff Lee did just that Tuesday night as he mixed breaking pitches with a sharp fastball to two-hit the Boston Red Sox in South Philly.
Lee even added an RBI -- again -- sacrifice fly in the Phillies 5-0 victory.
Lee became the first Phillie since Hall of Famer Robin Roberts more than 60 years ago to pitch three-straight shutouts.
The lefty extended his scoreless innings streak to 32 by going the distance -- again.
"I never want to give up a run," Lee said after the gem.

He needed just 112 pitches to dispatch Boston. He struck out five and walked two in the effort.
It was Lee’s fourth shutout of the season.
Lee (9-5) got more support than he needed as Domonic Brown and Shane Victorino both took Boston’s Josh Beckett (6-3) deep for two-run shots.
The win pushed the Phillies to a Major League-best 50-30.
Lee’s complete game shutout comes on the heels of Roy Halladay’s one-run complete game against Oakland Sunday.
Righty Vance Worley (2-1, 2.83 ERA) will try to keep the hot pitching going Wednesday night as he faces righty John Lackey (5-6, 7.36).
